When we look at the food we eat today, we do not know whether we should laugh or cry. The abundance and widespread availability of fast foods, junk foods, processed foods, and refined foods, compete to provide us with maximum stimulation. Lifestyle diseases such as Type II Diabetes, Heart Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Cancer are rampant and they are encroaching on us. We have no control over our own eating habits, not even when we know we must change. We fall prey to highly stimulating foods, which are essentially comprised of “non-food” items: genetically modified organisms (GMOs); toxic chemicals; refined goods like white flour; white sugar; salt, and oil.
What to do then? Turn to nature, simplify your meals, and give your body a chance to heal. Consume only clean foods, try your best to eat only raw, fresh, ripe, organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. The natural diet I am here to teach is the fruit-based, low-fat, raw vegan diet, which is inspired by Dr. Douglas Graham’s book, entitled The 80/10/10 Diet. This is based on the theory of Natural Hygiene, which originated in 1832. It is a diet that will give you optimal health and maximize your energy. It will also stabilize your weight, sharpen your mind, and allow you to retain a youthful appearance.
Remember, health is not just about the food you eat but how you live your life, too. I have learned that from my own experiences of healing, which I have shared in the “About me” section. It is documented as, “My Healing Journey” and I invite you to read it. Essentially, trying to get adequate sleep and exercise, maintaining a healthy emotional attitude, achieving meaningful life goals and nurturing loving relationships have become my everyday life. You will be able to read about some of my successes and some of my struggles here as well.
On this site, I will share my journey and give you all my insights.
